Mikey buried his face in gees chest

Gerard stoked his hair "Mikes? Is tehre ANY way i can help?"

"Not unless you have a time machine... you wouldnt happen to know doctor who would you?"

"I'm afraid not" smield Gerad, kissing him lightly again "Cheer up Mikes, it's weird seeing you cry"

"I cry aboout things that matter to me."

Gerard couldn;t help the way his heart rushed "You-You acctually care about me?"

"I told you that this morning."

Gerard grimaced "I thought you ween;t telling entirely the truth, you've lied before abotu caring about people"

Mikey pulled back. "You...thought i was lieing?"

"I can't help it Mikes, I've fallen asleep in your arms believing you loved me and then been tossed aside like noting the next day, I want to believe you, but my brain thinks my hearst an idiot"

"its not your heart that feels things. Its your brain. Your heart just pumps blood around your body." said mikey quietly, pulling away from gerard, all the emotions that had been in his eyes before just disappeared. It was like a shutter had closed, locking all of mikeys feelings away. He wiped his face, getting rid of the tears and throwing the tissue into teh bin a bit more vigorously then needed

Gerard let out an involuntary whimper at the loss of Mikeys contact "Fine, then the logical part of my brain thinks my feelings are an idiot! I'm sorry Mikes, I can;t help it" he simpered, trying to cuddle up to Mikey again.

Mikey pushed him away. "yeah well, I'm sorry that the first person who i tell that i honestly care about them shoves it back in my face." whispered Mikey harshly. The shutters keeping emotion from showing in his eyes opened slightly, showing the amount of pain and upset what Gerard had said is causing him.

Gerard bit his lip "I want to believe you Mikes, I love you, what did I do?"

"You didnt believe me."

"I couldn;t helpit!" whimpered Gerard, almost in tears.

"You should have been able to." said mikey. he turned and left the apartment. An hour later he returned

Gerard was hunchd over the kitchen table with ahalf empty coffee mug, he'd obviously been crying . When he heard the ooropenhe looked up "Mikes?"

Mikey draopped his jacket in the cahir andwrapped his arms around gerard. "i'm sorry. I was upset i'm so sorry..."

Gerard buried his face in Mikeys shoulder, just glad for the renewed contact "It's fine, I promise" he mumled, breating Mikeys scent in deeply.

Mikey held him

Gerard started to cry aain slightly.

Mikey held him close. "I'm so sorry."

"I thouht you'd left" mumbled Gerard.
